Another breast cancer diagnosis. 🙁  This time it was for a co-worker’s wife, Tracie.  Shocked and saddened we gathered pretty much the same group to make a quilt.  As we did for Kris’s quilt, we kept it a secret until we could give it to her just before starting chemo.  We didn’t know Tracie very well, so her husband Mike had to help us pick colors and let us know what she did, and didn’t like.  Again, it was a sad time but we were glad to be actively helping, if even in a small way.

We had learned a lot from the previous group project, so this one went pretty smoothly.  Jackie even made a really cool label for the back of the quilt.  I missed the presentation because Rich and I had already moved out of the area, but I understand it was lovely.  As far as I know, Tracie is doing well today.  Yay!
